Just tried a clean-dry microfiber towel. Works well.

I bought a box of 200 eyeglass cleaners from Costco for something like $4.50. They're small moist towelletes prepacked in individual 2-inch packs and have isopropyl alcohol. Everytime I clean my glasses in the car, I just clean the screen and they work great. I keep about 3-4 in my ashtry area as I don't smoke.

I'm about to do the interior for the first time and was looking for similar answers with respect to cleaning the screen (non-nav), the instrument cluster area, and the clock.

So I started searching Autopia for similar threads and there seems to be a lot of positive comments regarding using Meguiars QID (Quick Interior Detailer) with MF towel for this application.

Which is great because I've heard nothing but great reviews about using it for the interior in general so I bought some yesterday. I had assumed I'd need something else for the plastic/glass and was also worried about scratching/swirling (In previous vehicles I made the mistake of using paper towel and glass cleaner and in certain lights you could really see the marks left behind...duh).

Anybody else use Meg's QID everywhere including glass/plastic?
