center console aluminum chip.
center console aluminum chip.
So I have a small chip in the upper left corner of the aluminum trim on my center console. The car's at service right now getting a stereo problem fixed.
I swear the chip occurred when they last had the car in to get the rear camera replaced and to get the lens in front of the gauges replaced. I don't recall seeing the chip before I took the car in for that service.
The Infiniti service guys swear that they didn't need do anything to the center console during that service and that if any of the techs damaged it they would have told them. Because of that they won't do anything about it.
The chip is right in the corner, almost like someone nicked it with a screwdriver trying to pry it off. Are there any reasons why someone would need to do that for the service that I had done?
