My service visit notes

Seems I have many of the common problems, and had a trip to the dealer scheduled. Most problems not yet resolved:

1 - Blemishes on one wheel - dealer replaced wheel
2 - Heated seat issues - dealer noted TSB, but claims they are unable to get parts at this time
3 - Disappearing voice tags in phone book- the phone I had with me isn't on the Infiniti "supported" list (strangely it is for the M, but not the G). They want me to bring the car with one of my phones that is, and leave it there for a day.
4 - Mismatched shades of aluminum trim on the car. I had the service guy note it occurred for the records. I told them I wasn't looking for replacements at this time.

All in all, I have to say I'm not overwhelmed with Inifinit (or at least my Infinit dealers) service department. While they haven't done a poor job, I've been complaining about the heated seats for a while - and still it's up to me to push them to fix it. Also, they ordered the wheel in early Jan for me. I checked mid feb it still wasn't in yet, and I had to check again (no call) to find out it was in early March. 2 months to get a wheel - and no notice it was in?

Their attitude on the heated seats are next time you are in for service we'll see if we can get parts. Also, they were questioning if my heated seat problems are addressed by the TSB. "Do your passenger and driver sides differ in temperatures, because that is the only thing the TSB addresses."
Look, I don't care what the TSB addresses. I bring the car in for service with a problem, I want you to fix it. If you want to replace the whole interior of the car, because you don't think my symptoms match the TSB, fine with me.

I know I'm making a big deal out of some minor problems, and the dealer is nice, they don't have an attitude, replaced the wheel without much problem or question, but I get better service on most of my other cars, including those that are not considered "luxury" cars.

The TSB states: "If with the seat heater in the on position: 1. You confirm that there is a temperature different between the driver's seat and the passenger seat. AND/OR 2. There is a temperature difference between the bottom cushion and the backrest of the passenger seat."

The magic word is "OR".
