I find the auto-lock annoying ....
But I doubt you'll even think twice about not having it once you're behind the wheel of your new G!!!!!

I test drove a G35 the other day (maybe I'll be an owner soon). I heard what I bet is exactly the same thing. Did you ever get this resolved? It was a disturbing enough sound that it concerned me a little. Sure would hate to think it was "normal".
