Turn Signal Volume

The volume of my turn signal indicators seems to be very low on my 07 G35 Sedan.

I often end of driving for quite a distance before I notice that my turn signals are on. (Contributing factor is that I like the steering wheel low.) It's tough to look cool when you're driving along with your turns signals flashing away.

Anyone else have a hard time hearing their turn signal indicator?

Thanks,
Rick

Once in a while, but I will say its WAY nicer than most that click too loud. Like my wife's Toyota.

I agree. I've gotten a lot of comments from my friends. "How come your clicker makes no noise?" The radio's usually on, and they thought the turn signal was silent. I love it way more, especially when I want a quiet cabin -- when my passengers are tired or asleep, for example. That loud TICK-TOCK noise is irritating.

I barely hear it and I love it - just like in the coupe. Then I sit in my wife's ML and that thing annoys the hell out of me.

You guys use your turn signals when you change lanes or make turns?

J/K

But I like it low where you can't hear it. I'm always looking at my speedometer constantly anyways so I know when I accidentally leave them on.

i usually have the stereo on loud enough that I can't here it. And I really wouldn't want it to be loud enough to be heard over the stereo.

I noticed how quiet it was when I test drove the car.
I love it. Finally, something that does not irritate me when I am sitting at a long left hand turn lane. I used to turn off the signal while sitting because it was annoying (especially in so cal) in some of my other cars. But in my G, it does not bother me in the least! I think it is a great feature!

It's a little quieter than I'd like, I occasionally don't realize it's on. I like how it's not loud like my parents Camry. However, I think the sound in my Honda Civic was the perfect volume (not too loud it's annoying and not too quiet you don't know it's on)...wish it was like that.

Out of all the things that can bother a person about a car, are some of you guys actually complaining about the volume of the turn signals? If something like a "loud" turn signal irritates you to the point where you "have" to turn it off, at a left turn lane no less, than you got some problems my friend.
