Inadvertent Clear Bra Test

On my way home from work on the freeway, a car in front of me kicked up a chunk of wood that I could not avoid. It was bouncing around in front of me right before I heard the thump as I hit it. I looked in the rear view mirror and noticed the wood disintegrated into splinters. That’s when I thought I probably just ran it over.

When I got home, it turns out the bottom of the front spoiler got nailed good!

I talked to my installer and he said he would come out to my office this week and try to fix it by removing the damaged section and splicing in a new piece. I’ll let you guys know how it comes out.

Looks wicked bad. Just keep telling yourself that without the CB it would have been a LOT worse.

Looking forward to the after pics - they should be able to hook up something nice.

That sucks Terry. I know this is rubbing salt on a open wound, but to think if your car wasn't lowered...

Take some pics after they fix it up.

From the picture it looks like the damage is mainly in the CB material.

I wouldn't be suprised if once removed, a little buffing out, and reapplying CB material brings it back to like new.
