I hear a belt type noise @ idle when I shut the AC off/on. Anyone else facing a similar problem?

Couple other threads on this and I think the phonebook Q is now in the sticky FAQs area - but some quick answers...

Some noise is common for all cars. Excessive noise isn't. Ask your service guy next time you're there.

It's usually the phone... certain phones work perfectly. Others don't.
Search the threads - there are a few suggestions. Actually, search by your phone model number... might save time.

Again, not all phones can do this... those with Windows Mobile seem to work best. My non-windows phone only allows for 1 at a time...
