Question Would it be wrong of me....

To make a new thread every day, just saying how much I love this friggen car?

The wife and I work within a few miles of each other, so we commute together, 3 days a week. Ya know, to save gas and stuff (45 minute drive)
On these days, we take the Acura MDX and leave the G at home.
Today was one of those days, which was fine with me.
My G stayed home and dry, in the garage, during this fine New England Spring weather... ya know, rain/snow crap.

I got home and it stopped raining, so I had to think of a reason to go out.
I ran to the store for deodorant. (LOL)
Wife didn't buy it...she says, enough of your bogus stories, go drive your toy.

The SOW is amazing.
My older CDs that I haven't heard in years are back out and sound better than ever.... RUSH's 2112 & Spirit of Radio, Pink Floyd, Moody Blues, Lenny Kravitz, Nine Inch Nails, POD & Tool, and yeah, even a little Frank Sinatra.
I'm all over the place and lovin it.

The car is amazing.
I never see 07's on the road.
Everywhere I go, I see people wretching their necks to catch a peek, stopping short at lights to see, and people pointing at my car in traffic.

It's a joy to drive, I love the exhaust note, the feel of the wheel, the Adaptive lights, everything.
Smile doesn't leave my face, cheeks are hurting.

See ya tomorrow to tell ya's again.

I gave all of my cd's away years ago so now I am stuck with 30gbs of mp3's and no way to add them to the car.

LOL - in the last week I've listened to Rush, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, NIN, and POD in the G. The iPod setup is sweet.

Haven't caught Frank, mostly Jay-Z instead. Old school, new school...

Burn them onto discs. One by one might seem like a pain in the ***, but I have been able to add nearly 100 discs just by popping one in and recording while taking short trips.

About that... what happens if I start recording and get to my destination before a disc is complete... does it pick up where it left off.

Also, if I set the SOW to automatically record, will it know not to record the same CD twice?

agreed. the sound system is great, but only at extended volumes. has anyone else noticed that? it jus sounds "ok" at normal listening levels but amazing when you crank it?

It's been one whole day and I'm loving this car.
I've always loved the new car smell, but the G takes it one step further.
The G seems to have a better smell, and the whole garage smells this way, not just the interior. Every time I walk into my garage, I have to take a deep breath.

I've now got 190 miles.
Waiting for 1200 is like that wait period after meeting a new girl before you can play with her.
Sure, I could bang on it now, but like a gent, I'll wait till I'm told it's okay.
The G will respect me more down the road if I show a little strength.

Nice to hear you're enjoying the car. I have close to 4000k on mine and I still look forward to driving it every morning. I'm sure the mods I've installed contribute to my giddiness, but nonetheless, I love it. Also, I couldn't help but notice, but why would you mention wheel locks in your sig? Just a little weird.
