quick music box question

I'm not sure if this topic was discussed, but when recording to the music box, can you burn a cd in mp3 format or does it have to be in a CD format. It would be much easier if i can just throw 300 songs on a cd in mp3 format and just rip them all to the music box, but not sure if this is something that can be done.

I've uploaded about 7 CDs all with album title & Artist info...
You might want to try the Gracenote search which looks for the album info online, then transfers the data to the HD.

Ok, well I tried this method and im having a little problem. 1 is that I currently have 2 albums on my music box...but when i do search missing titles it only shows 1. Im pretty sure this is happening because the first "album" i put in there i tried manually entering things such as catagory, and for one song even the name. The second problem is that the "album" that i did export the CF card, the search from my comp found nothing. By any chance is this happening because the 2 cd's i downloaded to the music box are mix cd's that i just threw together on my comp?
