Thumbs up To Spoiler or NOt

HI all, just wondering what the opinion of you folks are on buying a spoiler for a car that is leased. I tried to negotiate a spoiler into the lease, but they were being a pain about it and figured i could get it for half the price aftermarket. My choice would be the standard wing spoiler you mostly see on the sport, or the European spoiler. BOth spoilers would be around 260ish in BLack, shipped. Is it worth it, and is this something that the lease company would froan apun when getting the car back. WHats everyones thougths.

Sure, if you like the look of a spoiler, I wouldn't hesitate for one second to install one on a leased G. IMO, both the OEM and Euro style spoilers look great on the G.

spoiler

My only problem is that i just sent back a Acura MDX and that had 1500 buks of free wear and tear, and the G doesnt have any. I had even changed out the INTAKE on the X and they didnt even say anything. My issue is just the end are they going to mess with me from any damage the spoiler may cause, because of drilling or tape.

if you want the spoiler, get it through the lease. it will be covered under the factory warranty that way.

If it's done right, and your not pulling it off at the end of the lease(leaving big holes in the trunk), I see no reason why they'd give you a hard time about it.

i agree because they would be charging you more for it.... unless the dealer wants to be an A$$ and lose a customer

My dealer said they aren't even shipping just the wing yet and that he would have to order the entire trunk lid if I wanted a spoiler or if for some reason I got a wing and it needed to be replaced. I wasn't dead set on the wing, especially for $550. To each his/her own, they happened to have my car exactly how I would have ordered it sitting right in the show room. Lucky me I guess...

I agree. It's the same way when I look at an Acura Integra; those without the spoiler look like they had it stolen off.

Smile this spoiler is the bomb

THis is the spoiler that i think i am going to get, thing it will look awesome in black to match my car. it can be shipped painted for $265, the stock spoiler is only 10 buks cheaper. I think teh EURO is much nicer.

Where do you plan on purchasing the spoiler? If you can provide additional pictures and link. Thanks!
