can the gracenote database be updated somehow, to avoid having to use the CF card method for new albums that are not on the cars dB?

i thought i remember heaaring that you can download it from the infiniti website. i think you have to download it to a CF card and then load onto the car.

 

Oh .. I think he meant the pre-installed onboard database. I would guess the installed database is updated anytime there is a firmware update. Who knows .... maybe one day, we will have software update capability at the user level.

that said, i did the cf update for the missing tracks after i bought a CF reader and it works pretty fast! impressive.
