Manual mode on automatic question ?

In manual mode with the automatic transmission is the vdc limit raised or turned off ? Ive been noticing that under D or DS modes the vdc light will flicker with momentary engine cutting. under the full M mode, which is totally great i can get alot more tail happy with no vdc so far, i could be totally off on this but i was wondering what others experienced ?

No difference; I find it the opposite though. Maybe you're upshifting early?

-i was upshifting in manual at around 6k, that isnt all the way to redline but not really early like 3 or 4k.

-well thats my question i hadnt turned off the vdc but i was getting alot more tail coming out in manual shift mode so i was wondering if manual mode was like auto canceling the vdc because in the same corner in d or ds i was getting vdc flicker.

VDC Always stays ON. no matter which mode you are in.
You prolly was just pushing the pedal a little to hard in the Manual mode.

ok so if vdc is always on unless if canceled, since the different modes can alter the shift point respectively would they possibly also alter the vdc engagement points as well ?... and who doesnt push the pedal hard in this car
