7500 mile service... Are they crazy?!?!?

I just dropped off my car for the 7500mi service and they were trying to sell me the "Premium service" which included washer fluid top off and a few other minor things... The big items were oil change, and tire rotation... Well they wanted $195 to top off the fluids and such... Is this a typical rate that I should be getting used to? I opted for a tire rotate/ balance and oil change for $55... Yea i know easy stuff i could do... but its just easier for them to do it... So is $195 resonable?

DO NOT TAKE THE PREMIUM SERVICE! It is a ripoff. All you need is the oil change and tire rotation. Balancing your tires is probably unecessary, unless you notice some vibration from the steering wheel.

If you have the Sport, then I believe you're not suppose to rotate.

Sport = DO NOT ROTATE.
But for some reasons, high end dealers charge a ton of money for a tire rotation. Acura used to charge $30 for a tire rotation! Crazy. I am not sure how much Infiniti charges, but I am sure it is not cheap. Avoid having the dealer do it if possible!

Unless you are planning on driving that car to its grave where you need to make sure the car is properly maintained, you don't need anything other than the occasional oil change. The rest is crap and a way for them to get some money out of you after you had bought a car that does not require much maintenance.

I had the coupe for three and a half years and didn't do anything to it other than oil changes every 3000 miles. The car drove great and didn't have any mechanical problems whatsoever.
