Anyone else store their extra compact flash cards in the ashtray?

Since I started driving, I've always had a box of altoids in the car. Since getting the G the altoids always covers the ashtray.

The only thing my ashtray is used for is my second CF card and my mailbox key. I don't smoke, but even if I did I couldn't imagine smoking inside my car.

Yup. That's where I keep mine. It's the perfect storage spot for them.

I keep my Compact Flash card there and also the lighter since I use the auxiliary power next to it.

Change - and surprisingly it doesn't rattle (of course, it's packed).

I use it for my cell phone (RAZR). It fits in there perfectly in its case.

My RAZR fits nicely, but not if it's clipped into it's holster.
I'm thinking about removing the ashtray and doing a custom Sirius install.

Was there a 'delete' option for the ashtray and we all just missed it?

It's weird that it's the reverse of the norm today (normally you have to order the ashtray as an option nowadays). Even on my '04 Maxima it was an option to GET the ashtray...and I loved the extra storage space instead of the ashtray.

I think smoking is still very popular in Japan.

That's why the office workers stay late into the night. If they didn't take as many smoking breaks, they might be done working by 7pm
