$500 over invoice or less is about par for the course for any G35 sedan including the 08s if you push for it. It's just important to never pay for the dealer prep fee (pure profit) and not mix up a trade into the equation until these numbers work.

the vpp is the way to go. I was surprised and pleased to find that my company is on the list. I think there are a lot of companies on the list.
FWIW, my salesman did mention that VPP doesn't always work on their "bread and butter" cars like the g35. It does need to get manager approval. I guess fortunately for me I went in on a sunday and the regular manager was not in. I was able to get the g35x below invoice without a minute of negotiating.

2007 sport, premium, nav, tech. $500 over invoice, but I paid retail for the tint and $400 for the clear bra. They did take the $300 VIN etch off though. doc fees added up to a hundred or so. Did the deal 2 weeks ago in Houston Texas.
