Ok check it out...2007 G35S prem/nav/tech/splash/net/mats/auto for:

$36,100, $500 below invoice. Car has ~100mi, born on 7/07

I still feel like there's more room, the lots are flooded with '08's.

Northern VA, Passport. I'll be checking further into Tyson's,

EdPark, who'd you talk to?

Thumbs up 2008 G35 Sport 6MT (USA Model making CANADA its home)

Details are as follows:

(2008) Platinum on Graphite

G35 Sport 6MT ....$32400.00
Premium Pack. ......$2500.00
Splash (4) .............$150.00
Cargo Net ...............$60.00
Trunk Mat .............$100.00
Dest./Hand. ...........$715.00

MSRP ................$35925.00

Purchase price out the door $34500.00

The full picture, after importing, looks like this:

After exchange, the G35 out the door was $32000.00 CDN (no state taxes payable). After migrating across the border and paying the RIV fee, excise tax, import duty (6.1%), gst, pst, emmissions, and taking care of the daytime running light issue, another $7500.00 is tacked on. Total spent for this G35 is $39500.00 CDN.
In comparison, the Canadian details are as folllows:

Vehicle ..............$46490.00
Spash (4) ..............$180.00
Dest./Hand. .........$1650.00

MSRP .................$48320.00
With Taxes .........$55199.00

Bear in mind that this figure is full list price, and does not price in the cost for administration as it is offset by the cost of driving down and back to Ontario (with new G). Based on your negotiating, the Canadian purchase will be either lower than, equal to, or more than $55199.00 when you drive it off the lot.

You be the judge.

Got things down to $35,751 which is $900 under invoice. I don't think I could get any better. Going to pick it up in the AM pending inspection. PM me if you need a great sales guy.

Between now and New Year, it is the best time of the year to buy any car! The traffic at the dealer is at its slowest. I plan to get an 2008 just after X'mas and I am shooting for 1K under invoice by offering 1.5K under as a start and stay firm with it and see how it plays out. It would be month end for the dealers, probably the slowest month for the dealers, not to mention a rather slow economy. I live in Central Jersey and there are serveral dealers that I can shop around. If anyone plans to buy the 2008, haggle hard with the dealers. You should not pay above invoice at this time of the year!
