Question about oil change and warranty

Sup,

To not void your warranty, what does one have to do if you change the oil filter and oil yourself? Do you need to contact the dealership and have them sign something?

To be on the safe side, in case you have the misfortune of having to have a major warranty repair in the future, you should keep all receipts, even receipts just for the oil filter and oil. This way, you can show Infiniti that you have been servicing your car in case they question you.

+1

I service a lot of Gs in my area and this is the way to go. Infiniti just wants to see that you have legitimate records of maintenance.

To be on the safe side, you should keep any receipts for parts used and record the mileage & date in a log for future reference...

That's it......
