Do you think the 512 songs limit on the compactflash can be fixed?

I mean fixed by Infiniti.
Obviously it's an easy fix. I should now I'm a programmer and I can't believe that there is so little memory that the array is limited to 512 songs. It's probably just an arbitrary limit set into the programming.
So they can probably fix it for model year 2008. But will they? And if they do can they make an update for the 2007 models or is the programming burned into a chip?

i doubt it was amistake in programming. i am sure it was done for a reason. just like not being able to transfer mp3s to the harddrive. that would be easy to setup and i should now im a programber too.

As for the 512 limit there may be a reason but I really don't see what it could be. Storing the filename and path of 512 songs just does'nt take that much memory and I see no reason why memory would be insufficient to store a lot more than that.
Say 256 bytes path/filename * 512 songs = 128k. Memory is so cheap now that we can surely expect the system to have megs and megs of ram, surely at least 1-2 of those can be spared to store filenames.
