Quote: Too bad you can't rent a 2007 G35 from Avis.
I wouldn't mind doing some first hand research on your premise
That is very Funny!!!!!

Quote: Ah okay that makes sense...I'm not too educated on ABS and how it affects a car with a DBW system. So if the ABS fuse is taken out, I'll probably be able to spin the wheels right?
well...I dont think that's what you should be doing anyway, you'll absolutely destroy your brakes. the break-gas method works more like, hold break down with your left leg, then stomp on the gas but only hold the break down for a millisecond once u've pressed the gas..on the right pavement the car will peel out for a whiiiiiile. try it.

Quote: +1 I haven't experienced traction control kicking back in if I turn off VDC.
I have..or *something* is going on sometimes, it just interferes with throttle when doing some particular things...I'll try to notice exactly when it kicks in next time.

I remember the first time I turned mine off...I kicked out the back end while making a left turn like a week after I got the car. I think my heart skipped a beat Anyone notice cruise control doesn't work with VDC off? At least it doesn't with the tech package, couldn't say for anything else.
