Your G35 goal

My goal is show quality. Starting at the end of the month, performance mods (what few there are) are going in. I'm designing a body kit for the car, found a shop that makes kits. Don't know what spoiler to use. I like the one on the GTR concept, to be honest. And I plan on a paint job down the line. But performance first.

What's everyone else doing, if anything at all?

I am waiting for a supercharger (hopefully a reliable one). I want ALL stock except for FI. Not even lowering springs. Sleeper!

as hard as this is for me ... i would like to keep my g stock ... there's plenty of power in the stock engine and i don't plan on doing anything huge ...

i might just put a new tire package to replace th stock 17" and probably just lower the vehicle but mainly, it's going to be stock ...

my last few cars were modified and i'm just sick of modding another g ... it just feels nice to leave it stock ...

I'm pretty much done with the mods for now. Perhaps an aftermarket audio system, but that's about it. Once the warranty expires, I'll be going FI. Probably SC.

Only exterior mods: Waiting for my wheels and hoping someone will design a nice small lip spoiler to cover the chrome trunk lid.

This has plenty power for me.

Just put in a Zapco DC Reference 1100.1 amp powering 2 JL Audio W6v2 subs. Planning to put a Zapco DC Reference 650.6 to actively power a 3way Dynaudio component set. Then, if I somehow have extra money lying around, put a Mac Mini in there. That's it.

As of today, just getting one is my goal. Every time i'm almost ready to pull the trigger something goes wrong.

So what.. there will always be somebody quicker..

Money is better spent on driving lessons... in most cases..

Most of us will never use the G on a track.. For the street.. a few tenths difference in performance between cars boils down to the driver.

I guess anyone who has ever added an intake or exhaust should have spent their money on driving lessons...?

Your right, I don't plan on tracking the car. Nor would I race on the streets. So I don't know if going to driving school will teach me how accelerate my 5AT any quicker. Perhaps they'll teach me how to stomp on the accelerator a bit harder? =)

For me, FI would be worth it when I'm able to keep up or walk those E92 m3's and RS4's during those brief highway runs. To each his own.

My goal is to get a new OEM grille and try to keep it from pitting.

How very true.
My goal for my G is simply enjoy the ride. If anything I might get some chrome 19"s but that it.

I'm not one of the 07' guys but here is my $0.02 anyway.

A bit further would be nice.
- Custom widebody kit with 10"F 12"R wheels.
- Larger BBK
- Engine build with ~550whp

That should about do it.

you're aware by doing this you'll be blowing your engine to bits in a matter of months right ??
