G35x "wind noise"

I have another question about my G. It seems to have a lot of wind noise above 45mph on the driver's side at ear level. It's definitely noticable if radio is off. Anyone else notice this?
Thanx for the feedback, Bob

I don't have the X, but my G is the quietest car I've ever ridden in!

I have that noise speeds above 85 mph from the rear seat/window area.
Mine is a 04 sedan.

Definitely see if the dealer can solve your problem.

Bob, I moved your thread to the 07 Sedan section since you will get more feedback here. I personally don't have a G35x, but my G35S does not have any wind noise.

I did test drives in 4-5 different G35x's before deciding. While mine is nice and quite, one that I drove along the way was distinctly louder than the others. It almost killed things for me, when I figured it might have been an odd ball.

Probably just the wind roaring by since the X is sooo much faster

My journey is quiet, unless the sunroof is open. The sunroof is surprisingly quieter if I use my hand to hold the black wind deflector thing DOWN?!?!

I have the same wind noise on my Sport 6MT. 2 weeks old. The wind noise occurs at speed higher than 45 mph. Noticeable even with radio on. I am going to call the dealer soon.

I drove one before I bought mine that had this windnoise really bad. I really wanted the color, but I was not going to buy a car that already had a problem. I ended up with a different color car, and an extra $500 in my pocket for "my trouble."

No noise from my G35x. But, everything is relative, I supposse, and your perspective may be different depending on your previous car. For me, I find my G35x to be just fine. Did your previous car have a moonroof? Typically, a car without moonroof compared to the EXACT same car with a moonroof (and closed) will be still quieter. That's my experience at least w/ other cars (not with the G35 since AFAIK all G35s have moonroofs).
