TPMS Warning light not turning off

My TPMS light is on all the time even without moving the car after it is started. It stays on even after I restarted the car. Any one know why it is doing this?

Silly question but have you checked if your tire pressure is in spec?

yes I did, it is at 37lb when it is warm.

The light shouldn't even be on unless I drive it for 25km/h, according to the manual. But was on and stays on after I started the car.

check the reminder date or the mileage of the reminder. my warngin light came on at 1000 miles. i thought i ran over somehting and my tire was leaking. i kept checking but couldnt see or hear anyhitng. i checked the alerts and found out that its suppose to remind me every 1000miles to rotate the tires. try that out and get back to us.

I didnt have that on my car at all. But in my past experience you should pump your tires up to 40psi. Recommended by nissan. If it doesn't go off a little while then your tmps sensor is broken. So If i were you , just bring it back to the dealership rather than play the guessing game.

I check all the options, but I can't find where this reminder is set. Checkec the service reminder on the LCD, but couldn't find it. I also check the tire maintain reminder in the car's computer, but couldn't find the rotation reminder. Can you let me know how to get there? I don't have nav on my car.

Just the other day I was calling the dealer on how to reset the TPM since I was having my scratched rim repaired. The service manager told me that they would pump the tire to 38psi and drive it above 25mph to reset it. I guess you can give that a try.

Search, there have been a couple of threads on this. Basically if you've done the "drive over 15 mph after filling tire" things specified in the manual, you need to take it in to have a sensor re-registered to the car. Happened to mine, no trouble since.

My light came on, and indeed my rear driver pressure was low. I drove it about 15 miles before I had a chance to pull into a gas station. Checked the tires using a meter, and the one was at 18psi. I filled it, and when I turned the car back on, the light was off, and I did not have to wait for it to reset.

I actually need to go check that tire today. I am wondering how it could have gotten so low. Maybe I have a slow leak. This was last friday, so if it is low again today, I guess I have a problem.

The manual says it should be inflated to 33psi when it is cold. What do you guys inflated it to when it is warm to get the TPMS light to goes off?

To reset the light if it doesnt go off when you inflate your tire, you have to bring it to the dealership because there is a special OBD tool that they use only for nissan. The regular obd tool cannot reset code.

Happened to me. I lived with it for a while and figured I'd get it reset at the next oil change and then it went off a couple days before the service. This actually happened twice.
