what to do about tire pressure sensor

what to do about tire pressure sensor

this question is to anybody who has put 20" rims, or any othe size for that matter, on their g. what did you do about your tire pressure sensor?

I did nothing. Tire pressure sensors are expensive. Right now I have a light for tire pressure. I just check the tire pressure regularly. This is not critical to me. Since the system does not tell you which tire is low or even show you the amount of PSI.

Depending on the length of Winter in your region, if Summer was longer than Winter, I would get someone to move the sensors from the stock/winter rims to the summer rims..

i am worried about the sensors not fitting on the new wheel and tire, i didn't know if i should get the sensors on the m45 sport wheel or just use mine?

I put mine in the new wheels.

They would not fit in my new Volks so we got a set of brackets that are made to move them to 90 degrees inside the wheel. But they fit my other two sets of 20's just fine.

Don't run sensors in my summer rims for the same reasons as infi07g35x

On my previous G35 I transferred the sensors to my 19s, worked flawlessly. The only thing is be careful who is installing the sensors on your new rims, those sensors are pretty flimsy and could break out of anything.
