hm, will have to check it out... i looked briefly the other day, but i was driving (through the rain of course) so options may have been hiding from me. i know you can turn on the lights manually, but that still dims the dash - seems like they should link the button that flips the nav screen into night mode with the gauge dimming mode

Hit buttons to left of speedometer to "max brightness"? Haven't noticed the dash dimming, so not sure.

^ that was my initial "quick fix" for it, but it still didn't get quite as bright as "daytime mode" or whatever you wanna call it. It's pretty noticeable - just flip the switch to turn on the lights in the middle of a bright day - the dash dims considerably and the nav flips colors simultaneously
