anyone have lowered G35x pics?

I have noticed that the G35x suspension seems to be higher in the front, especially noticable with large aftermarket wheels. Does anyone have any pics of a lowered G35x, preferably with 19's or 20's.

I can't imagine many people would lower their X. At least for me the reason to get one was to drive in the snow, which would kind of suck with no clearance.

Check with Salerngo. He has the first ever dropped 07X here. Hope he doesn't mind me posting up his pic that i found in one of the wheel threads...she's a beauty!

Thanks, this was exactly what i was looking for. I am thinking about getting the G53x because I love the feel of AWD, and also occasionally go on a ski trip if the weather isn't too bad. Do you think that something like the one above could be used for light snow.

I came from an Audi S4 and Volvo S60R. Both of these are lower than their 2 wheel drive variants, the A4 and S60. Even though it had little ground clearance, the S60R is the best vehicle I have ever driven in the snow. Better than any of the SUV's I have ever owned. Granted you would not want to take them off-roading.
I personally wish my G35X was lower but it's a lease and I doubt that I will lower it.

I want to drop mine 1 to 1.5 inches. That little reduction in ground clearance will make nearly no difference for me. I'll keep the stock dampers though.

I came from an S60R also, with body kit. Am soooo happy not to have to worry about scraping the nose on everything in the G35x I got to replace the R.

What is your opinion of the R vs. teh G in performance? I had my R chipped by Evolve, but the G feels quicker to me SOTP. I will throw my GTech on to see once I break in the G.

I also had the body kit and do not miss worrying about scraping the nose.
I had a 6 speed w/o chip; acceleration from a stop is definitely better in the X. On back roads at speed I slightly preferred the R due to the more comfortable seats, stiffer suspension, manual transmission and better brakes (all imo). Overall I like the X better so far.

I agree with all your points; brakes definitely better on the R, seats more comfortable, suspension stiffer ( I am not sure better, but definitely stiffer). I also overall like the X better so far, performance and definitely better Tech gadgets. Love backparking the X with the camera.

The suspension in the R definitely had it's quirks and was almost undriveable in the firmest setting. About the only things I really miss from the R are the rain-sensing wipers, slightly better paint and manual transmission. Otherwise I am very happy with the X.

Tien H-Techs....I PM'd him because I have an X and I want to drop it too. He said he had absolutely no problems. I've been waiting to hear if he's complained about the rear being "bouncy" after a while. It seems that was the biggest complaint on the previous G35x's that were lowered. Check out the other forum, there's a whole thread on the lowered X sedans.

I'm going to drop mine, but for some reason, I'm paranoide because Salernigro is the only one that has done it yet.
