He either means that his ride is totally stock or that he gets wood driving 276mph. Since I assume no stock G can break 200mph, I think he must be referring the the later.

I believe that the top speed of each model of the G is electronically limited to the speed rating of the stock tires. The journey and the x have v rated tires and are rated to approximately 135mph but the sport model comes with tires rated to around 158mph.

I haven't taken my car to the track and personally do not intend to attempt any top speed run on the street.

My top speed is roughly 135 - 140. I'm not sure, because I wasn't watching the speedometer, I was watching the runway. I attained this speed on the airfield at NAS Corpus Christi using taxiways and the main runway.

Aside from that, I rarely see 80. The highest speed limit on my Island is 55, and that's on a two lane road - cops will write you for two over.. My commute to work is regulated to a max of 50, and even if I wanted to go *****-out, there is a constant flow of traffic so forget it. Besides that, it's barely three miles one way. The only two-lane available is through the middle of town and the speed limit there is 30 - 35.

The only exercise my G gets is when I go off the Island, and that's about once every couple of months...

I'm fux0red.
