Keep us posted... I am getting the same annoying wind noise.

I cruise 70+ miles on the interstate everyday, and it's getting REALLY old.

I have the same slight wind noise from driver's window. I notice most of these complaints are on the Sport. Coincidence?

We're all waiting to here if there's a fix. My seals and weather stripping look fine as does door alignment.

All other windows are quiet. I have tested on different roads, different weather conditions (windy & calm) and still get the same results.

Is this normal for a car of this type? Should I take it to the dealer for new weather stripping? It's not loud at all but it's just there.

Thanks,

I would like to say hi to everyone. I am new in this forum. I registered so I can help you. I have an 07 G35X and had a same problem since day 4. I bought my car back in November 8 2006. I had to actually fight with my service they said frst roadnoise then it was road dirt bla bla bla. After 2 visit I told my service technician it is time to drive the car together. So we went out I showed him and ask if he still think there is nothing wrong with the car. They admited there is a problem but could not figure out what the problem is. So I started to play with it. I realized if I close the window all the way up I have the noise but if I tap on the switch a bit so the window goes down a little(still closed just like release the pressure from the door) the noise is gone. I believe they made the motor too powerfull and it moves the whole door in. Just try it leave the door open and close the window you'll see it moves the entire frame of the door in. I went back to my service and told them I know how to fix it. I asked them if they can adjust the limiter switch position or they have to adjust the cable. They said cable so they adjusted the cable for me.They adjusted the cable so the window could not go that high it stops lower. We are talking about .100" First they did not get it right. I still had the noise but only higher speed this time.So I know we were going to the right direction. Next they adjusted a bit more since that no problem. I hope this helps and good luck to all of you. Go Infiniti wooohooo. I love my car BTW.

Cheers

I have tried to release the pressure from the door/window, but the noise is still there. I guess it is time to take it in. Thanks for your advice.

Weird. I have a friend with the same problem. The fix was the same. I told him to try tap on the window. It wasn't that bad so he asked the service to adjust the cable. After adjustment just like my G his was good too. ..hm I guess maybe the weather strip. Are you sure it is not the rear window the small one. That is another story. There is a fix for that one.

There is 2 different problems here with windows.

1, driver side window as I stated before goes too far up.

2, the little triangle window on the rear door. I don't know how they fix that but I sure can ask. My friend had that problem and they fixed it for him.

both sound the same only the front door wind noise a bit louder.

I am going to try to tape the window and drive it around and see where the noise is coming from. I am sure it is coming from the driver side window.

I'm driving a loaner with 7500 miles on it and even at lower speeds it sounds like I'm driving through a wind tunnel, mostly coming from the drivers side window.

All they did is lowered my window up position with the cabel adjustment. It solved the problem. they did it first it got better so they adjusted a bit more and gone. I am happy and hope it won't come back. I am trouble free since May. All I have to do is enjoy the ride. And sure I do. I hope you guys will be free soon.
