Wuttup Guys..... What cable do you need to play Video from the IPOD? Isn't it the headphone jack output? if not, which is it?

I tried a generic headphone jack out set of A/V cables... It didn't work... Even when the E Brake and Park was on... I"m confused!!!

Help me out guys... thanks!

 

The A/V cables out of the headset jack should work - did you switch the iPod to TV on? It's in the Video section, at the bottom in settings - if you have TV off, it will show on the iPod screen, not on the G screen.

 

Yeah, make sure you make it set to TV on. I set mine to ask me each time I start to play a video.

 

Standard jacks on an iPod video switch the video signal with one of the audio signals. Try plugging Red in for video, and yellow in wher red would go for audio, white is the same. Cheap trick by Apple to make you buy their cables.
