Is there anyway to have Verizon's VZ Navigator's audio output through bluetooth in the 07 G35's speakers? My phone is paired and everything, but When i'm running VZnav the sound for it neither comes out through the phone nor the car speakers? Thanks!

Probably not, but you should be able to hear it since our cars are very quiet.

Just turn off all the music and let off the gas for a second... or put the gear in neutral.

Hmmm, this is probably going to be a hard one... I would ask the dealer but I doubt they will know anything. If you use your headset it plays through the headset but you probably have to tell the car to "listen" somehow for it to work...

It's probably the app... TeleNav does the same thing also. I think this is standard for most phones though... only audio from the calls are sent via bluetooth to a headset/hands-free device like the car. If you want all audio to go to the device I think it has to support audio gateway as well (like a laptop).

I know with all the devices I've tried (probably 6 different ones by now), only calls go to the car. If you have any other audio (mp3, etc) it never goes to the car...

Lets keep our fingers crossed and possibly bug our dealers and maybe they will add it in a firmware update. I think it should be able to work, too bad the sound quality isn't better... that might give them a bit more fuel to the fire. I have heard the next gen iPods are going to come with bluetooth so we shal see...

I've never heard of stereo bluetooth. Maybe someone else has?

The A2DP profile is built for this... a stereo or mono stream from one device to another.

The G doesn't support A2DP though.

Darn, is that hardware driven or could it be updated through software?

I never thought of that... but I don't think it's just a simple upgrade. Think about it, can you upgrade your phone to support a new bluetooth profile that it never did?

I know some of the stuff in the car is upgradeable, but I doubt this is. My guess is that it supports hands-free and address book transfer and that's it.
