that is really horrible. I can't imagine they would charge that much with a straight face, the grill is very light plastic. I assume that charge applies to quarter panels and things.

Good find though, nice to know we have an option.

Might make sense to buy one and use the clearbra tape on it, while it is brand new, clean and removed from the car. You could just put it on your kitchen table and tape it up. or, did anyone spray with clearcoat laquer or anything like that?

Why would you pay for a grille. I had the dealer change mine for nothing.

Exactly! There is no way in hell that I would pay for a new grille out of my own pocket. Plus, wtf is up with the shipping? It's pretty sad that the shipping is pretty much the same cost as the grille.

Guys, take it easy. Shipping is only $14.95. If you read the red disclaimer under the picture it clearly states what the $150 charge is for. I created a fake name and address just to get to the checkout screen to make sure:

That's less than I thought it would cost to have it replaced, but lets hope there will be a service bulletin in the near future so that we don't need to waste money on a replacement factory grill. I find it hard to believe that Infiniti is aware of this quality issue and not planning to resolve it.
