G35 Sport in snow

I drove my G35s every day through a Canadian winter. Winter tires are a must. I drove through freezing rain, black ice, and 8"inch of snow on the road and had no problems getting around.
Put winter tires on stock rims and get some 19" or 20" rims for the summer.
I dont think 17" rims will fit over the 13" brakes on the sport models so you are going to have to go 18" min for winter tires

I have a different question about a G35s being driven in the winter time. I bought my g35s in san diego, california where it never snows and plan on moving to denver colorado. My friend told me that my car will corrode from all the salt sprayed on the snow because there isn't a salt resistant coating on the chasis. He told me to repurchase a car in denver cause they come standard with it there. Is this true?

WRT your second question, 17's will be a little more forgiving in potholes and other road hazards and I don't think you'll find 18' steelies.

18in. oem rims with winter tires?
Hi, i have a the 18in. factory gunmetal wheels on my coupe. Would winter tires be fine on those wheels even though the rear ones are wider? If i get 17in wheels, will they fit with my Brembo calipers? What are some winter tires you can recomend that's not too $$. Should i just go to BJs for my winters?

1st off, Colorado uses very, very little salt on their roads. Mostly we just use ice slicer and Magnesium Chloride, neither of which will corrode your car.
Second, the cars here are exactly the same as the cars in Cali. Just like in every part of the country, a dealer will try to sell you overpriced, unnecessary add-ons. Interior, exterior, whatever. If you're friend is buying any special 'undercoating' to protect his car from the non-existent salt, he's being taken for a ride (pun intended) by the dealer.
I have a bridge for sale, ask him if he's interested.

o man, SPORTS in snow sucks. I got a 07 g35 Sports. There was like almost no snow on the highway, it was cleaned. And my car lost control. And that BiT*H would not go anywhere. It has no traction at al. So down even think about taking it for just a ride in the snow. I was stuck on the high like 2 mins away from my work. lol But its summer right now, so dont got much to worry about yet. Other then that, the CAR IS SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET
