Lady G Thread
Lady G Thread
Calling all lady G owners,
I want to start a lady-only G thread. Can I do that? OK just kidding, you guys can read the thread too. But seriously, I want to know what it's like for my fellow ladies (doesn't seem right using the word "fellow") being players in a mostly all boys game.
So what motivates you? Did your guy talk you into the G? Did you talk him into "letting" you have the G? (assuming you have a guy at all...) What's your story?
Let's get talkin'...

OK, I'll start out. For some reason, I for one have always been interested in cars. I can remember being in my early teens and having a car mag in my room (don't even know where I got it). I guess I was influenced by my family and the males around me.
I'm a tomboy too. I like fun, fast dangerous stuff! I also like to do things on my own. Nobody, I mean NOBODY, tells me what to do. I figure it out on my own and yes, sometimes the hard way. Owwwww.
So this is my second G35. I'm married. I have to say it was fairly easy to get this one. We went to a car show in Philly and checked out the '07 G and I basically said, "OK, I want that."
My first G though I basically got that as a compromise to a 350Z. I got it in my head one day that I wanted a Z (I had an '03 Eclipse Spyder GTS) and my husband said, "Well, why don't we go check out the '04 G35." Honestly, I'd never really even paid much attention to the G line before that.
Bottom line I am happy I got the G (sedan) versus any other car. Also, my husband and I have been married long enough that he knows when it comes to cars I have to have my way.
So that's my story ladies...
P.S. I also have a motorcycle. My husband has his Nissan Frontier truck to pull his BOAT, his TRAILER for his MOTORCYCLE, and he also has a motorcycle. So don't worry, he's happy too.

I am guy, but Ill post some stuff you might like anyways-
I have friends that are female that helped build their own motors- One of them has a mid 11 sec 03 Cobra and the other has a high 10 second 66 Mustang running a stroker motor on race fuel-
I also work with a girl who drives a built El Camino-
and if anyone met these females they would never guess- ie they are actually really cute- they are not some fat chick in suspenders with dark hair on their arms- LOL
I think its cool when a female is into cars- just thought I would tell my story since those girls dont visit this board-
Also did you know that the Pace Car Team for the Champ Car Series consists of only femal drivers?

Amy, to my knowledge, the only other female member here that owns an 07 G Sedan is Cheryl (Trey's Wife). I am sure she'll be along and add to your thread, but in the meantime, we're glad to have you here as a member!

Not that there's anything wrong with fat chicks with hair on their arms...I want to reassure everyone that my intent is not to start a male/female war. I think that things that are worth getting excited about* are worth getting excited about by both "boys and girls." I joked about a "lady-only" thread but really I want to hear from everyone!
Thanks for replying, GNN60GT500...
