Try a video camera, if possible. Cell phones aren't known to have world-class audio codecs.

Lookin very good though, how do you keep the filters clean?

i doubt it's THAT big of a loss due to "warm" air (where does the stock system draw its air from anyway?). this isn't forced induction we're talking about. i was just asking for the sake of accuracy.

otoh, the losses from changes in intake dynamics and resonances by running an aftermarket tubular intake can get that high. not saying that is the case here, but it can and does happen.

Without any other mods such as plenum, headers, pipes, exhaust, and further, forced induction, no one here should expect anything more than a difference in sound out of this mod. Intake by itself never provided and will never provide any significant hp gains (if at all). I would go even further and refer to an intake as a sound mod.

agreed.

my stomach turns when people talk about throwing a car with intake and exhaust on a dyno, on a different day than when they first ran, and do only one run.

statistically irrelevant!

Agreed. the JWT Pop charger sure sounded mean on my coupe. Now if someone could get a decent sound clip, I'd be good to go with the purchase of this sucker.
