speed i had a jwt pop charger on my coupe before i switched to injen. If you liked the sound of the pop charger then youll like the sound of the fujita. Very similar honestly except the fujita is a little deeper at WOT.

I see this mod and think:

1.Uncovered Filters in the Engine compartment, plus metal intake piping, and all of their issues in hot enviroment after sustained driving
2.$300 for a sound, 5-10 hp is well, nothing. Anyone can make more hp on a dyno, I know a shop that will give you 20hp for free.
3.Sounding louder but not going faster is Retard Ignoring Correct Engineering at its best
4. I bet you will see the same hp on a cold car with a stock airbox with K&N replacement filters,& more power with the K&N's when the car is driving.

The Stillen setup looks the best is its design and materials, but theres is a waste of money as well.
I dont mean to offend some of you I just hate to see people waste money on junk parts.

to each is own...what you consider a waste someone else might consider not. I will put money on it that my car with the fujita setup vs another car with a stock setup will have a race and it will be even. Being that all other things are equal, drivers, weight etc. What i hate is someone who has believes that there is a such thing as a wrong opinion.

Search on google for "2007 350z intake dyno". You will find a link to a 350z forum where there is a thread posting an independent before/after dynograph of the Stillen intake PLUS a nice sounding video of the dyno.

not that I know lots, but I did several intake dynos(stock vs K&N vs CAI) on my previous chipped VW and have my conclusions. that being said, theres no need to get so cynical about my comments... and I did mean it when I said its cool sounding.

In your tests which one produced more power? I'm guessing the k&N replacement drop-in

My apology, i just never seen a car lose 15 hp due to intake...it might not gain power but it def dont lose no 15 lol.

in my tests, yes. after a few dyno runs, the car lost quite a bit of hp due to heat(and this is with the hood opened and 2 fans blowing). -15hp is not that surprizing especially with open CAI right in the middle of the engine. Anyway, the conclusion was that(heat soak aside) all the numbers were the same until it was near redline where K&N gave an extra 5hp(and this is with a turbo). Unless u take it to the redline most of the time, its not worth messing with the K&N oils and causing MAF troubles. I can't speak for infiniti air filters, but the VW stock filters are pretty good.

exhuast and loss of 15lb of torque make alot more sense then an intake losing 15hp. Exhuast messes with your backpressure. These cars need some of it, regardless of what people say that more free flowing is better. Its not.
