Another Phonebook Transfer Question...

I have a Verizon/LG VX8700. Pairs up fine and functions fine w/ Bluetooth. My problem is downloading the phonebook. From searching here I've come to the conclusion that some Verizon phones don't support this function?

I've found the option on the phone to check all address' and to send via Bluetooth but still no worky. What menu do I need to be on in the Nav. if it works? I've been trying on the "add phonebook" menu.

Hoping there's been some updates to this though I can see where the 40 entry voice phonebook (which I can manually input fine) is really the one I'll use while driving. The 400 entry one won't work on the go anyways in which case can the call be placed via the phone's address book?

Some of the phones do transfer and some don't. There may be a list on here.

For instance. my Blackberry 8703 didn't -- but my Blackberry 8830 does.

My Verizon/LG VX8600 does not transfer the phone book. I heard that it was a feature that Verizon restricts. Not sure if this is something the carrier can control or not.

Not all the Verizon phones -- Like I said, my 8830 transfers fine.
