I can't figure the logic of making a sport coupe way considerably more than a sport sedan.I mean a 4 door should weigh more than a 2 door ,right?

They added additional support to the door frames or something, so that they're more reinforced against side impacts. The brakes are bigger, too, if that matters, especially with the 19" rims.

Does anyone know how much heavier the 3.7L engine is? And how it affects the weight of the rest of the engine bay?

And why compare the 335 coupe/sedan? That makes no sense... they both weigh about the same and have the same engine. The coupe G37 has a larger and more powerful engine, which makes this all the more interesting.
