Ok here is my deal; I have a G35 sedan Sport, prem package. I am currently a deployed DOD contractor. I have some extra funds available that I plan to sweeten up my G.


Just wanted to know what you guys thought about buying some of the factory options after the fact. I really would like to add the 4ws ($1500) I am sure the dealer will also charge a grip for the install. I also thought about the Nav/Tech package but I could spend 3K on wheels and tires.

I haven't driven my G in 2 months and I got another 2 left, the other day I had a flash back of how the acceleration feels a smile slowly appeard on my face. My co-workers laughed at me and all I said was you have no idea!!

 

There is a reason why they are called FACTORY options. Good luck!

 

You may be better off trying to sell it, and then repurchase one with the options you want. Especially if you can't even use it for a few months.

 

The only factory options the dealer can add are the cargo net, splash guard, African Rosewood, and factory spoiler. You can't add 4WS, and adding Navigation would not only cost about $2,000 for the equipment, but probably $3,000+ for labour because of how difficult it is doing. And that is if you are lucky enough to find a dealer that will do it. You can't add technology or 4WAS.
