Question on leasing 2007 G35

Hi,

I am looking to pickup a new G35. I have a trade in which I think the dealership is giving me a decent amount for, I was offered a demo car that the dealership had with 5000 miles on it. MSRP was 35800 and I was able to get them down to right above invoice.

My question is should I stay away from the car since its been demo'd? I mean I have the warranty but then again I was reving the engine out when I test drove their new demo myself. What do you think?

Thanks,
Paul

I personally wouldn't do it. If I lease a verhicle, I'd like to have as few miles as possible. When I was looking to purchase the G35, the dealer had trouble looking for the exact specs that I was asking for. There was one car in the pre-own lot that had everything that I wanted and only had 60 miles on it. The dealer wouldn't lease it to me since it had been used as a model car and had been registered.
You should be able to get a new car with low mileage at $1k to $2k above invoice easily - I've seen better deals too. So the question is whether you are willing to save the $1k to $2k for the 5000 miles?

Forget about that deal. I got a brand-new G35 with 17 miles for less than $500 over invoice ($3,100 off MSRP), and many others here have gotten even better deals. The caveat is what city you are in, because deals are better in large Infiniti markets (LA, NYC/Jersey, Miami, etc.).

It's a demo. Don't pay more than $750 under invoice.
