Good highway gas mileage!
So I did a 400 mile trip last weekend with speeds upto 90 and as low as 25( during construction). I finally saw some good gas mileage with the trip averaging at 26. Quite a change from my city driving avg of 18.0
I guess we should all just using this car only for high speed cruising/canyon carving

yeah i have seen as good as 26mpg but only on strickly freeway driving, get off the freeway even just to fill up and that will drop a couple mpg easily. But overall im happy with the MPG. . .
I get around 24-25 on the highway, and I don't drive slowly. At one point on a recent trip I set the cruise at 65mph, and left it there for about 50 miles --- and was registering ~28mpg. Around town, given my never-grew-up driving style, I get around 18.

My mileage has improved quite a bit since the initial break-in period (have a little over 6,000 miles so far). I started out in the high 18s but have been averaging around 21.7 since.
I have also averaged 26 on strictly highway with the cruise set at 72mph.
I do have some advantages though:
I drive 22 miles (round trip) to work. All country roads except for one 3.5 mile blast on the highway. No stop lights (so I can "slow-roll" through most stop signs).
If I'm not messing around I almost always skip at least 1 gear while upshifting (usually 5th, sometimes 4th and 5th).
On the short highway section, I'm usually running between 75mph and 90mph depending on traffic and Troopers!!

I did about 350miles with 18 gallons of gas over the weekend trip from Orange County to San Francisco. Btw, one way was about 400 miles. I was traveling between 80~130mph. So I guess I did avg of 19.44mpg.
I averaged 24.2 mpg on 80 mile drive down to the Jersey shore. Around town I am getting 15.5 mpg. I can deal with the highway mpg, but city driving sucks... I'll take 300+hp over fuel economy anyday. If they added a 6th gear on the autos that would be a great benefit..
