EZ-Pass operable from G Sport Sunglass holder
Good news! You can store your EZ-Pass in the sunglass holder near the sunvisor and the EZ-Pass sensor will pick it up.
I experimented on the NJ side of the Holland Tunnel on my way into NYC when there was light traffic--no one behind me. And "bada bing" the green light flashed "PAID." No more velcro strips or suction cups messing up your windshield.
Try it.

You don't need to open it. In fact, with the holder closed the EZ Pass is closer to the windshield.
Don't forget to put it in the holder with the strip side away from you, i.e. with the E-Z Pass sticker info facing you.
Hope it works for you. It would be hard to believe that the NYC E-Z Pass sensors are more "sensitive" than in other areas. All due respect.

Yup, it should work up there. My father accidently had his on the center console underneath the radio(which is fairly low) in his car and it went through the tolls ok. Maybe he just got lucky, but having it up higher such as the sunglass holder should work great.
Keep in mind, they also have the transponder where they attach it permanently on the car, either on the license plate or underneath the car where it's fairly low, so the sensors should be strong enough for it to pick up even if it was laying on the floor of the car. I just don't have the ***** to try it yet
