nav package later?

If you have the premium package installed from the factory, can you later get a dealership to install the navigation package? Or is this a from the factory install only?

If you are considering Nav, definitely order it with the car.

I would but the problem is I can not afford a brand new one. Trying to find a slightly used sedan with the premium and seeing if the nav would be an option later on in life.

You shouldn't even be considering the car if you can't afford a 2k difference.

ok first off ***, it is not a 2k difference from a used g35 with premium to a new g35 with premium and nav. that is getting upwards of a 7k difference. Who are you to tell anyone they shouldn't consider something because of their financial situation. Real classy.

i bought mine back in 04 without, Nav. I asked the service department how much it would be to add it and they told me it was not possible to add the factory nav afterwards. I guess its prewired from the factory.
So buy a g35 with it if you can, my .02

dude, if you can afford the base model, get the base model! it's a hella lotta car for the $$$. who cares if you don't get the factory nav, sure it's nice to have it integrated, but imho much better to get a base g35 with a tomtom nav system, than a TSX/civic/accord or something with integrated nav. put the money in the basic car, add aftermarket goodies later.

And who are you to snap at a guy just trying to give you advice? Plus, he's an older member of this forum and you're just a noob to it. Show some respect for those who are wiser than you when it comes to their G's.

No, the Navigation is a factory installed option only. You won't be able to get the dealer to install the Navi later on down the road.

I am really not sure how you came up with a $7k difference. In any case, if you are looking for a slightly used 07 Sedan and want Navi, why not just find one with the Premium and Navi packages?
