question about skyline emblems

I called up a place that had skyline emblems for the 03-06 g35 sedans. I asked him if they were the same for the 07 and he told me no. Can anybody tell me how the hell they would differ. I look at 06 sedans and my 07 sedan and the infiniti word looks the same size.

Nissan Japan homepage might help you.

Well, here.

http://www2.nissan.co.jp/SKYLINE/V36/0611/index.html

There are bunch of Japanese letters there. Just click on "3D" at bottom right.

you'll figure out.

Heres a pic of the 07 rear emblems. I dont know what the 03-06 looks like though. But if they look the same, then they probably are the same.

logik,

They look the same at a glance but they vary a bit in size depending on the year. Just ever so slightly but the size of the Nissan Ring or the letter height/width/spacing could be slightly different. Even the '350 GT' emblem that goes on the right corner varies in size from year to year. I believe the older pre-07 GT's were a little bigger than the current one.

They are different for the 07's. The "350gt" badge is smaller on the 03-06 cars and a slightly different red color. The "skyline" lettering is slightly different as well. To get the real deal you have to order from Japan direct. Nobody in the US seems to have them yet.

I even checked japan parts...noone seems to have them. Any idea where I can find these? My friend is about to give me the set he has off his coupe which is going back off lease...i know the size is different, im going to match them up to my factory emblems, if the diference is small im just gonna use them.

Japanparts.com is where I got mine. They are not listed on the site, you have to e-mail the request in for pricing. Mine came straight from the Japanese dealer in the Nissan packaging.

Problem with re-using the emblems is the double sided tape they come with. Some times they break during removal as well.
