Hit and Run

On the way back from Dallas this weekend on I-35S, my 2 mo. old G was backed into by an Expedition. I was at a rest stop using the bathroom, and I come out to find my front end damaged and the Expedition gone. It must've backed into me, but I didn't park close to it!

I'm so upset, but the clear bra protected the paint from chipping off.

It never ceases to amaze me how indifferent people are about f*cking up other peoples stuff and driving away as if nothing happened! Rat bastards! This kind of thing really gets me, however I find myself in rare form tonight since some f**khead slammed a shopping cart into my G. .

Ouch! Yikes!

I've been parking my new G far from any other car. But already have a chip on the hood, with clear bra only on the bumpers, where I can already see light scratches on the film left by lovely inconsiderate people who can't park and don't give a damn about their own cars or yours.

I noticed the other day someone hit my rear bumper on the left (drivers)side. Enough to put some scratches in. I buff it out enough that you have to look close to see it but as someone said people don't care.

Yea I usually park very far from other cars, but at this rest stop, there was limited parking, and I had to pee badly!

The world is filled with subhumans who dive around in POS cars and hate to see anybody have a nice clean car. They are miserable and want to make you feel the same ie:keying and backing into nice cars.
HATERS!

I usually try to park very far away from cars/SUVs in general. I dont mind walking @ all. I guess thats the price you pay when you want to have a dent free/ding free car. I dont understand it. When Ive had no other parking choices and had to park next to another car, even if its a rust bucket or a porsche I take car of not throwing the door or dinging the car. Just common courtesy that I guess some people dont have now a days

I am a freak about where I park, which usually means I am shooting for the last parking space in the lot and walking.

When driving my old kid and winter car (2002 Mazda Protege5, which I didn't care as much about as my Porsche), I still was very careful when opening doors, backing up, etc. Not only to be respectful of other people's cars but also because I still wanted my car to look good (even if it was my 2nd car).

I got hit at the front license once as well. I was waiting in line to get out of my condo's driveway, but the stupid lady in front of my back up without even looking and hit my front license plate. Good thing is that there is no visible damage to the front bumper, but the licence plate bracket bended a little. I have a clearbra on as well.
