Extended Test Drives??

Hey guys...
As of right now I am not in the position to make my G35 (or any car purchase) but I enjoy lurking and learning.
When I bought my current car (Pontiac Grand Prix) I asked the dealer if I could do an extended test drive. They allowed me to keep the car for about 24-hours. I really got to experience the car in my own terms and with my own convenience.

My question......
When it comes time for me to make my ultimate decision on the car, will I look like an idiot if I asked the Infiniti dealership if I could do a 24-hour test drive, or something similar??

Just curious, because I know some places allow it, others do not.

Thanks in advance,

Julian

I had an extended test drive for 72 hours/150 miles from Miller Infiniti in Van Nuys.

I had an extended 3 day test drive of a G35S 6MT over Memorial Day weekend at Douglas Infiniti in Summit NJ. It sold me on the car.

Offered 3 days , bought it after 1st day.
No regrets.
