Our Gs are slippery

So I was driving in my work parking lot today. I was making a right turn and there was some water on the floor. I slightly accelerated coming out of the turn and the entire car started sliding sideways. Total loss of traction. The SLIP light was blinking like mad. I thought the car would have better traction than this in the wet. Anyone else experience some unwarranted slippage?

parking lots + water (not full rain) usually equals oil patches. that's probably what you encountered. RWD does not like oil patches.

I can even get the FX's big a** to break loose slightly in wet conditions (especially if it has just started raining). So, it isn't surprising.

Agreed, this always happened in my Z and I think its a RWD not an Infiniti thing. I've tried hard to shake my X and FX loose and it is very hard to do.

+1 My wife's Sequoia will bring the back end around in the wet (which is pretty entertaining in a vehicle that weighs, what, about 50,000 lbs... )

I do find the G will oversteer in surprising situations, but in the wet it's not surprising. Don't EVER turn off VDC in the rain.
