If this is the same layout as your powerbook it may be worth a try.

G35_S: Yeah, you're right...but I am definitely not going to try it!
Plus, I don't think watching DVD's while driving is the safest move anyway...hahaha.
ChristianN: Thanks for the search, this is exactly what my PowerBook keyboard looks like, and I think you might be right re: hitting F7...looks like that double/overlapping screen icon means you can toggle back and forth from different display sources.

Awesome! Now that you're not struggling with that anymore maybe you can explain to my why you want to look at a 7" screen instead of the 15" right in front of you.
*I thought I should ask my stupid question after posting a possible solution

It sounded like one guy was having trouble getting his to work at all...
Make sure the parking brake is set, otherwise you will need a "special" switch. But we are not allowed to talk about that here publicly. If you have any questions I have added the magic switch to my car and it works flawlessly. As for using your mac, what os are you running? If your running OSX all it takes it to plug in the rca-out dongle and click the monitor icon in the top right corner and click "Detect Displays". Once it turns on the video out it will change resolution and that same menu will give you the option of having two separate screens or two of the same (mirrored). If you don't have a monitor icon at the top right of your screen you have to turn it on in the "displays" portion of the System Preferences under "Show Displays in Menu Bar". Its a good thing to keep up there, especially on laptops. Let me know if you have any other questions!
