Got the Cayman before I got a divorce (no the car didn't play a role in it) and I hadn't sold my last car yet (Mazda Protege5). So for most of the last year the Cayman was my toy and the Mazda was my winter/kid car. But the Mazda doesn't go through the snow well (and I'm and avid skier). So for the last year I've been thinking that needed to do something. For a while, my thought was to downgrade and get a cheaper toy (something like a Saturn Sky Red Line and then something for winter and the kids (some Subaru). But then I started to think, "if I'm going to get rid of the Cayman, I'm going to get one nice car that meets all of my needs (fast, good for snow, will fit the kids).
When I comes down to it, I figured I would be much happier with one very nice car (the G) than two lesser vehicles. As it is, I think my G is great and I get to drive it every day.
