IF YOU CONFIRM: When in Cruise Control mode, customers may report experiencing a mild speed fluctuation when the vehicle is traveling downhill. ACTIONS: Confirm this bulletin applies: Check and compare your Current ECM Part Number to Table A on page 6. If that part number does not match one in Table A, this bulletin does not apply. Go back to ASIST for further diagnostic and repair information. If applicable, reprogram the ECM. NOTE: This vehicle’s ECM is reprogrammed using CONSULT-III (C-III).Instructions on how to use C-III to perform reprogramming are contained in the attached Service Procedure. See this bulletin for further details.


EDIT: I've had this happen to me so this is one I plan to have addressed.

 

Good find man! My G does this so this will definitely be a TSB that I get done. Btw, I've posted it in the FAQ thread.

Thanks for letting us know about this. My G35S 6MT surges like crazy going downhill, sometimes it almost feels like someone tapped the brakes. I will definitely mention it when I bring it in in Sept for service.
