My blades stink. From when my car was brand new one my drivers side blade was never tight enough to the windshield to remove all of the water and left residue after each wipe. I've thought about replacing them many times just have not done so. Also the sprayers are sub par. Mine spray three streams from each sprayer. A misting action would be much better.

There are so many things I love about this car, but at least a hand full of mistake I wish Infiniti would fix. chippy Grill, chippy windshield, weak wipers, cheap sprayers, flimsy floor mats, cheap lower door panels, no pass through in trunk. These are minor things but there are at least a handful of other issues that they could have designed a bit better.

Really? Wow, I have the complete opposite perspective; great car, handles great, looks great - and it has a few minor flaws. All in all, an overwhelming positive.

the wiper blades generally work well. I have one relatively major problem with them though, and I don't know if it's the blades, or something else. The driver side blade, after wiping upwards, when it goes back down it pulls ALOT of water back with it. Enough that sometimes it obscures a significant amount of my vision. It does this in heavy rain. I've never had a car have a blade pull back so much water on the backstroke. Anyone else have this problem?

try cleaning your blades with an alcohol wipe once a month. it should make the blades work better. in lieu of alcohol wipes, i use baby wipes.

Maybe you did not understand what I was saying:

I don't think you and I are disagreeing, I think the car is wonderful and it would be even better if they fixed a few minor "quality" issue. I don't think there has been one person on this forum that has praised the problems I mentioned. I guess I'm the first.

Correction, I meant a rear seat that does not fold down. You are right there is a four-inch by six-inch hole which you can stick you hand through. Not sure what the use is for that hole.

You are correct I meant a fold down seat. And some are born to... never mind, I forgot some people are too sensitive.

Try fitting anything more than two golf bags in that trunk. It's plenty tight. A fold down seat might even allow a mountain bike to fit. Would that be a bad thing?

Heheh. I'm not sensitive - you can call me anything you want... my wife does!
I came out of the FX45 and find the G trunk space pretty good. Do I wish it had a split seat - yeah... ok. Not if I had to give up something like the tight ride - I think they didn't do it for weight and body stiffness reasons.
But I did read your thread as more of an "I wish.." post, so no worries. It's always nice to point out defects and hope they get fixed.

My last car was a 300M Chrysler. The trunk was huge relatively speaking and it had a fold down rear seat. Actually the trunk is not the problem it’s the opening to the trunk (which is too tight) and the lack of a fold down seat which are the problems.

For a car this size the 300M had more interior room and a better designed trunk. I know, I should have purchase a M45 if I wanted more space. I just could not get my hands around the idea of spending $50k though. But for the record I love my car, I’d just like to have a few improvements to make it better.

Hey don’t sweat it, being sensitive is not as bad as being a b!tch.

German cars have the same design (no hardline blade). My wife's ML350 has the same type of blades.

I'm satisfied with my stock 07 blades. They worked fine throughout the winter months with snow etc. Haven't had much rain this summer but they worked fine when we did get the odd rainfall.
