Dealer Options question

I'm looking to get an '08 next year (G35 6MT). I've noticed that the African Rosewood trim isn't an option for the 6MTs. Would the dealer install this as an option ?
Thanks

The dealer may install a substitute wood trip that is considered a "custom dealer installed" part. It doesn't have the Rosewood finish but it is rather more shiny.

The short answer is no, the dealer won't install the Rosewood. On the other hand, if money isn't an object, you can order the Rosewood trip pieces independently and have them installed by the dealer - that will run you some $$$ though if I to guess.

I asked the same question and to order separate would cost almost twice the cost of the factory option.

whoa - that frigging blows. I used to own a 2000 V6 Passat and I got that option with my 5 speed manual. It looked really nice. You would think that Infiniti would offer this up as well.

I hate the after market "shiny" look. Oh well. Thanks for the quick responses.
